PHSSR is pleased to announce a new collaboration with IQVIA, which has joined the upcoming Policy Roadmaps project on acting early on non-communicable diseases (NCDs)
IQVIA is a leading global provider of clinical research services, commercial insights and healthcare intelligence to the life sciences and healthcare industries.
The PHSSR Policy Roadmaps will analyse how health systems can more effectively act early on NCDs by identifying successful policies and building actionable, measurable country-specific recommendations.
“At IQVIA, we believe in the power of scaling up innovation and working in collaboration across sectors to build more resilient, representative and sustainable health systems,” said Tim Wintermantel, Senior Principal, Global Public Health, IQVIA. “The NCD crisis is one of global public health’s most pressing challenges and we’re proud to be playing a role in developing the PHSSR Policy Roadmaps.”
“Knowledge exchange and collaboration is core to PHSSR’s mission to strengthen health systems worldwide,” said Alistair McGuire, Professor of Health Economics at the London School of Economics, and Chair of the PHSSR Steering Committee. “We are delighted to welcome IQVIA on board, and look forward to working together to develop these important recommendations to tackle the NCD challenge.”
The first Policy Roadmaps are set to launch in early 2025. You can read more about this exciting new chapter of PHSSR research here.
